Canary Islands

7 islands and 6 islets, a multitude of opportunities for an unforgettable experience and a perfect holiday enjoying the best climate, stunning beaches and a natural space ideal to do sport or to have a rest.

A set of seven islands (El Hierro, La Gomera, La Palma, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote) and 6 islets (La Graciosa, Alegranza, Clara Mountain, Roque del Este and Roque del Oeste and Lobos Island) make up this heavenly archipelago of sun and fine sandy beaches with an excellent climate throughout the year (22ºC average).

Its landscapes provide us with all kinds of places: mountains, volcanoes, waterfalls, cliffs, ravines, laurisilva forests, junipers, immense dunes, white, golden, black and red lava beaches. These surroundings have won Unesco recognition as a Biosphere Reserve in three of its islands: Lanzarote, El Hierro and La Palma.

The islands have 141 protected areas, of which four are National Parks, together with other sites of special scientific interest. They offer a total of 1,386 native plants, 546 that are unique to the islands.

In addition to having a pleasant subtropical climate and a great variety of natural environments, they are a paradise to practise extreme sports as well as being a star gazing tourist destination.
